The village of Spratton, Northamptonshire, is going to commemorate their local RFC  hero by holding a weekend event on 25th / 26th April 2015 in the grounds of Spratton Hall School.  There will be a fly-past of a replica BE2 bi-plane from WW1 and another replica in a static display on the ground.

On 25th April there will be a book launch of an illustrated biography of the brave young man and it is also intended to unveil a commemorative stone.

26th April 2015 is the exact centenary of the day that Lt Rhodes-Moorhouse made his daring, but fatal, flight that earned him a Victoria Cross.
